About the Foundation

Initiative Mission Foundation is a not-for-profit company under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. We exist to enable people to live with dignity, health, awareness, confidence and opportunity.
Our story
Four journeys. One shared mission.
Initiative Mission Foundation was incorporated on 28 May 2025 by a family of professionals who had each spent years working with people — in Government, in Parliament, on campuses and in communities.
Hari Krishan brings the experience of governance and institution building. Savita Krishan brings the practice of preventive health and holistic well-being. Nirek Krishan brings the energy of youth, entrepreneurship and personal transformation. Reiki Krishan brings a psychologist's understanding of empathy and behaviour.
Together they created a foundation with one simple test for everything it does: did it change something, and can we show it?

We are at the beginning, and we say so plainly. Our first programmes run from October 2026.

Incorporated
Registered as a Section 8 company under the Companies Act, 2013, with a Section 8 licence.
- 17 Jun 2025
Charitable registration
Provisional registration as a charitable institution under the Income-tax law, for AY 2026-27 to 2028-29.

80G approval & four missions
Donations made eligible for tax deduction; the four-mission architecture adopted.
