Mission Shakti · शक्ति

Safe, respectful places to study and to work.

Mission Shakti builds public awareness of dignity, respect and the rights and responsibilities under the POSH Act — for people who rarely get structured access to it.

Hari Krishan, Mission Lead

Why it matters

The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 protects women at every workplace. Yet many students about to start work, small establishments and community organisations have never had clear, practical awareness of it.

What we do

  • POSH awareness for students and young professionals
  • Gender sensitisation
  • Legal literacy on rights and remedies
  • Awareness support for small establishments and NGOs
